We all bloom together, side by side, and work together to bloom in the hearts of others and as a community.

These words resonated off the walls of McNamara Alumni Center as community members came out to ASU's Gala 2018: In Full Bloom despite weather conditions. To all those who made the event possible, from our committee members to those who attended, we sincerely thank you. That night, we truly bloomed together as a community. We couldn't have done it without you.

With Gala having passed, we now move into March. This month, don't miss out on opportunities for personal and professional development with MCAE's Career & Leadership Diversity Summit and APARC's AAPI Youth Summit! Both are events that will encourage you to step out of your comfort zone to learn about and develop yourself. Afterward, join us next month at ASU's Spring Conference 2018, where we will present five workshops and one banquet exploring and celebrating identity, culture, and community. Registration for ASU's Spring Conference will open soon!

As we near the end of the year, election season is right around the corner. If you're looking to gain experience planning an event for ASU but missed the deadline for Spring Conference, consider signing up for ASU's GA Planned Event! Applications are now open and will close on March 16th, 2018. Check out a recap video of what our GA did last year!

In addition to the GA Planned Event, another way to gain experience doing ASU work comes in the form of our Marketing x Multimedia Internship: Yearbook Committee! If you have talents you think would contribute to the ASU Yearbook, consider being a part of our first ever Yearbook project.

Another ASU event to look forward to is our next Asian American Perspectives workshop – a collaboration workshop with Asian American Organizing Project titled "Asian to Asian Solidarity." In this workshop, we will explore and discuss each other's political and social histories and learn how to work in solidarity between different Asian ethnic groups.

Be on the lookout for plenty of ASU events later this month, including a collaboration between ASU and La Raza: "The Perpetual Foreigner" and ASU's very first community-wide philanthropy Assassin game – they will all be updated on this site, under the 'Events' tab >> 'ASU Events'! Have a safe and eventful rest of spring break!
